This is a large Bronze Age - Hallstatt period bronze mirror/sun disc, dating from c. 1300 - 800 BC. It is a fine example with a nice dark green patina. The discs were heavily polished and used to shine/reflect sunlight or to gaze at one own image. it retains the intrinsic cast suspension loop on the back.
