This is a fabulous Iron Age Celtic bronze finger ring, dating to the 5th - 3rd century B.C. The ring is decorated with six knobs, comparable with knobbled "ring money" from the Hallstatt and Danube regions. This example is clearly a finger ring, with the lower shank free from decoration, making it comfortable to wear. This item has survived intact and wearable, with a wonderful apple green patina.
