Obverse +ÆĐELRÆD REX REX ANGLOX (Aethelred king of the English) Bare-headed bust left, in front trefoil, tipped sceptre, legend surrounds.
Reverse +ÐEOGILD M-O LIN. (Theogild Moneyer of Lincoln) Voided short cross with CRUX in angles.
This coin has peck marks and a centre crack from circulation in Viking-held territory!
