This is an ancient Roman silver finger ring, dating to the 2nd - 3rd century A.D. It is of a Heing type VIII, with D-shaped hoop, broad carinated shoulders and raised solid circular bezel. It is rather worn but intact and without any damage or cracks. A good excavated example.
