This is a medieval silver penny of King Edward II of England, struck at the London Mint between 1315 - 1317 AD.

Obverse:  + EDWAR R ANGL DNS hyB (Edward King of England Lord of Ireland) Legend around crowned facing portrait within inner beaded circle.

Reverse:  CIVI TAS LON DON (City of London) Long cross pattée, trefoil of pellets in angles, mint name around.

This is an excellent example with a good cabinet tone
