This is a medieval silver penny of King Edward Ist of England, struck at the London Mint between 1294 - 1299 AD.

Obverse: + ЄDW R’ ANGL’ DNS hyB (Edward King of England Lord of Ireland) Legend around crowned facing portrait within inner beaded circle.

Reverse:  CIVI TAS LON DON (City of London) Long cross pattée, trefoil of pellets in angles, mint name around.
