Intact Medieval Silver Crusader Cross Pendant
This is a wonderful and rare medieval silver cross pendant, dating to the 12th - 14th century A.D. The cross is shaped as a pattée, used at this date by the Knights Templars. It retains the original decorated suspension loop, though displaying heavy wear from active use over a period of time. This pendant would have been of great value for the weight of the silver and for whom it represents - the wearer to have been an active knight or sergeant in the Templar Order. It has survived in good condition, suitable to be worn again today!
