This is a wonderful medieval gold amulet, dating to the 15th - 16th century. It is made from a high carat yellow gold, tested around 22k-23k. The heart is decorated with granulation work around the sides, it retains three suspension rings for attachment to a chain. The amulet would have once been set with rock crystal gemstone, perhaps for a relic or commemoration. A nice excavated piece.
