Code: 11447
This is a medieval gold finger ring, dating to the 13th - 14th century. The stirrup-shaped ring is set with a turquoise gemstone. Turquoise was thought to protect wearers from falling off horses, this example appears its owner fell off quite a few! The ring is intact though badly distorted but an original medieval ring that can be restored by a jeweller.
