Code: 13044
This is a late medieval silver finger ring, dating to the 15th century. It appears to have had a long life, with several repairs and resizings evident. The ring has vestiges of the engraved design on the band, but most of it has worn away. The main soldered seam has opened, and the ring is a little crushed as if it's been through a few battles in its time! This type of ring is usually dated to the mid-15th century into the 16th-century Tudor period, see ESS-F0BD60 and NMGW-CC9E91 for further examples. This ring is sold as found and is priced accordingly (this is not a British found ring!)
