Medieval Silver Signet Ring of a Lion
This is a medieval silver signet ring, dating to the 14th century A.D. The quatrefoil shaped bezel is engraved with a lion device. The shoulders are engraved with a pair of hands, as of presenting or holding the bezel. A ring of this quality and size would have been worn by a merchant, or one unable to bears arms.
