Code: 13046
This is a rather charming medieval silver baby's ring, dating to the 15th - 16th century AD. The ring is a simple hoop of wirework, decorated with a collet-set turquoise-blue glass cabochon. This ring was a metal detector find and, as such, hard to date with its simplicity. Based on recorded examples, this ring dates to the late medieval period. It is intact, though chipped on the turquoise glass, and the ring is distorted from its time in the ground, still an interesting historical ring that would have been worn by a child of wealth!
