This is a scarce Tudor silver shilling of Queen Elizabeth Ist, it was minted in London between 1587 - 1589. This would have been around the time of the Spanish Armada in 1588. It bears the Crescent mint mark for this year. It has a sharp reverse with a nice and legible portrait.
