Excavated Tudor Period Gold Gilded Armorial Signet Ring
This is a wonderful Tudor period signet ring, dating to the 16th - 17th century. The ring is cut with an armorial, denoting this piece once belonged to a titled knight or lord. The arms (Argent, a chevron between three martlets Or.) possibly those of Sandford of Exeter.
