This is a wonderful Renaissance silver devotional amulet, dating to the 16th - 17th century. It is double-sided, with a bust of Christ on one side and the Madonna on the other. It is surrounded with an openwork frame, retains the suspension loop and a lower one for a pearl or drop pendant.
