This is a nice Renaissance silver finger ring, dating to the 16th century A.D. The bezel is set with a green gemstone, possibly a natural emerald, though more likely green chalcedony (often used as imitation emerald during this period). It is contained within a raised square shaped bezel, engraved with a geometric design. The band of the ring has a crack, though is stable and in excavated condition.
