This is a nice Renaissance silver finger ring, dating to the 16th century. It is set with an emerald gemstone, enclosed within a cusped setting. The inside appears filled with plaster or gesso that lightens the emerald. A good Tudor period ring that is secure, wearable, and in good antique condition.
