Baroque Gold Table-cut Diamond Blackwork Enamel Ring
This is a wonderful Baroque gold and diamond finger ring, dating to the early 17th century. the ring has a rosette-shaped bezel, set with a single table-cut diamond within a closed back. The bezel raised up on a claw / coronet shaped setting. The shoulders and bezel decorated with blackwork enamel. It is of an unusual design, though works well to display the diamond. The gold is of high karat gold, tested at over 18k. It displays plenty of natural wear with some of the enamel missing.
