A European Bronze Age spearhead with an elegant, leaf-shaped ridged blade and round socket. The socket has been pierced by two lateral peg-holes for attachment to a wooden shaft. Spearheads of this type are more commonly found in the territories of Northern Europe and Britain and were used throughout the Late Bronze Age. This example is intact with a nice green patina. All original and rare.
