This is an ancient Roman AE orichalcum Sestertius, of Emperor Hadrian, minted in Rome between 121 - 122 AD 

Obverse: IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right

Reverse: P M TR P COS III S-C, Minerva standing left, wearing crested helmet, sprinkling incense onto candelabrum to left and holding spear, to right rests a shield decorated with climbing serpent

A wonderful coin with a nice chocolate brown patina, in good hoard metal.
