This is an ancient Roman AE (Orichalcum) Sestertius, of Emperor Trajan, minted at Rome between 116 - 117 AD 

Obverse:  IMP CAES NER TRAIANO OPTIMO AVG GER DAC PARTHICO PM TR P COS VI PP Laureate and draped bust right.

Reverse:  PROVIDENTIA AVGVSTI SPQR, S-C Providentia standing left, elbow resting on column, pointing to a globe at feet. 

This coin bears the longest obverse legend on A Roman coin. This is a very nice example with a nice portrait and with a good hoard patina.
