This is an ancient Roman silver denarius, of Emperor Domitian, it was struck at Rome in 95 AD 

Obverse:  IMP CAES DOMIT AVG GERM P M TR P XIIII Laureate head right. 

Reverse:  IMP XXII COS XVII CENS P P, Minerva standing left, holding thunderbolt and spear, shield at side.

A nice example in very good condition with an old cabinet tone.
