This is an ancient Roman silver denarius, of Emperor Domitian, it was struck at Rome between 92 - 93 AD 

Obverse:  IMP CAES DOMIT AVG GERM P M TR P XII "Supreme commander (Imperator), Caesar, Domitian, emperor (Augustus), conqueror of the Germans, high priest, holder of tribunician power for the twelth time." Laureate head right

Reverse: IMP XXII COS XVI CENS P P P  "Supreme commander (Imperator) for the 22nd time, consul for the 16th time, censor for life, father of the nation." Minerva brandishing a javelin to right.

A good example with a fine portrait and good toning, grades VF
