This is an ancient Roman silver Siliqua of emperor Valens, dating to 367 - 375 A.D.

Obverse: DN VALENS PF AVG "Our Lord Valens, Pious and Blessed August" pearl-diademed draped and cuirassed bust facing right

Reverse: VOT X MVLT XX "vows (prayers) on the Tenth anniversary (of the emperor's rule), and for his (anticipated) Twentieth anniversary" in four lines within wreath. 

This coin was minted at Antioch (Antakiyah, Turkey), mintmark ANTI
