This is a wonderful Baroque silver-gilt pectoral crucifix cross pendant, dating to the late 17th century. The cross is set with olive woods, and seven receptacles for relics. The main corpus of Jesus is missing, this was probably made of silver as is the outer case. The back is profusely decorated with engraved flowers. The cross retains the original suspension. A great object of veneration, of a good size to be worn on the chest.
