An original single vellum leaf from a 15th-century French Book of Hours. Seventeen lines of French and Latin text handwritten in neat gothic script, single-column on both sides, in brown ink, with decorative initials and line-fillers burnished in gold on red and blue ground, illuminated decorative foliate-panel border to recto fore margin incorporating vividly coloured leaves and flowers.
