This is a medieval silver penny of King John of England, struck at the London Mint between 1205 - 1207 AD. 

Obverse: ҺЄNRICVS RЄX (King Henry) Legend around crowned facing bust, holding sceptre.

Reverse: +ILGER ON LVNDE (Ilger of London) Legend around voided cross, with four pellets in angles.

It is a superb example in VF condition
