Code: 13172
This is a nice medieval bronze vessica-shaped seal, dating to the 13th century. It is intact, with a simple pendant hanger on the back, for wearing on a cord or girdle. The device is deeply cut, representing two birds in a tree. The inscription is in Lombardic script. The seal has a deep green patina. A nice seal for translation and research.
