This is an interesting medieval bronze seal, dating to the 15th century. The seal is of a 'chessman' type, engraved with a central device of a letter 'M'. It bears an inscription in a Blackletter script, reading as "+ de leethlere" p The seal is in excellent condition with a nice olive-green patina.
