A nice English silver wine cup or goblet, dating to the late 17th century (c. 1680). This rare item bears a full set of hallmarks for London, a makers mark and date letter (all very rubbed). There is a split that has been repaired which just runs over the lions head if you look very carefully you can just make out a partial outline. This shape of the goblet was in use throughout the 17th century. It is intact and can still be used today!
