A superb Georgian silver pint tankard by William Shaw II, hallmarked for London 1764. Baluster form with a 'double C' scroll handle and raised footed base. There is a small set of Georgian contemporary initials on the handle. Hallmarks are exceptionally clear. Overall this is a very good English Georgian silver tankard 259 years old and still useable today!
