This is a nice medieval Anglo-Gallic silver Hardi d'Argent, of King Henry IV (1399-1413). Facing half-length figure of King Henry, sword in right hand, left hand raised, within tressure of arches, EnRIC R AnGLIE, rev., FRA CIE DnS AQI, long cross with leopard and lis in opposite angles.
This coin was struck in Aquitaine during the Hundred Years War for use in English held territory in France.
