This is a fabulous 17th-century gold and diamond finger ring. It is set with three table-cut diamonds, in a tightly rubbed and cusped trilogy bezel. The diamonds are not perfectly cut or faceted, these show natural imperfections/inclusions. The ring is in excellent condition for its 350+ years. Originally such a diamond ring would have been worn as a wedding ring, fashionable as such from the late Tudor (Renaissance) period.
