Tudor Period Betrothal Ring with Lovers Knot device

This is a lovely Renaissance silvered betrothal ring, dating to the 16th century A.D. The bezel is decorated with two hearts, bound with a lovers knot. Such a ring would have been gifted to a sweetheart or used as a betrothal ring. It has survived in good excavated condition and can still be worn again today!
