This is a nice Renaissance silver pectoral cross pendant, dating to the 16th - 17th century. The large cross is decorated with five bezants, each hollow and likely once containing a relic. The center bezant is engraved on both sides with a quatrefoil device is reminiscent of a four-leaf-clover, associated with this period with Thomas Becket (known as Becket charms). This symbol has always been associated with good luck. The cross is intact though has a few dents, the suspension loop is cracked though stable.
