This is an interesting medieval bronze signet ring, dating to the late 14th - early 15th century A.D. The bezel is deeply cut with an image of a seated lion, with a crowned human head (pointed beard appearing as an elderly King Edward III), this would have been used as a personal seal for sealing letters and documents. The ring has survived in excellent condition, complete with a nice light 'chalky' olive green patina. It is still suitable to be worn and used again today.
