Roman Silver Finger Ring Blue Glass

This is an ancient Roman silver finger ring, dating to the 2nd - 3rd century A.D. Then bezel is set with a sapphire blue glass gemstone, granulation work to decorate the shoulders. The ring retains the original stone from excavation, though has slight damage to the side of bezel. An elegant ancient ring for the collector.
