This is a medieval silver penny of King Henry III, struck at the Bury St. Edmunds mint between 1216 - 1247 A.D. The Moneyer who struck the coin was called Norman, his name and mint are found on the reverse of the coin. +NORMAN.ON.SAN. The coin has some wear and is a detector find from Kent.
