Ancient Scandinavian Viking Silver Lozengiform Finger Ring

This is an ancient Scandinavian Viking silver finger ring, dating to the 10th - 11th century A.D. The ring formed from a rod of silver, the bezel hammered flat to form a Lozengiform shape. Both terminals have been drawn and knotted to form a round finger ring. Today this ancient ring has survived in good excavated condition, intact and wearable with care.
