Ancient Scandinavian Viking Braided Silver Finger Ring

This is a wonderful ancient Scandinavian Viking silver finger ring, dating to the 10th - 12th century A.D. The ring is formed from rods of silver twisted together, each then braided to form the knotted bezel. The band of the ring is 'D' section, welded to the braided ends of the bezel for a comfortable fit. This is an interesting and wearable ancient ring in good excavated condition, the silver is good and can be cleaned if desired.
