This is an ancient Roman silver finger ring of Henig Type XI, dating to the 2nd - 3rd century AD. The bezel is decorated with a raised lozenge panel (unengraved), the shoulders shaped with a linear design. Similar rings have been recorded with inscriptions sacred to Totatis, see LIN-25CD0D and DENO-8EAFE4 and LIN-A50AD8 for discussion. This ring is in good excavated condition and is suitable for contemporary wear.
