This is a wonderful Roman silver amulet of the goddess Fortuna, dating to the 2nd - 3rd century A.D. The amulet is intact but worn, likely through constant rubbing (with the figures) as a prayer for luck (in the games, dice or some other pursuit). The amulet retains the suspension loop, through traces of wear with a leather cord or chain. It is a great looking piece, depicting Tyche Fortuna facing, holding a cornucopia.
