This is a charming antique silver locket, dating to the 17th century. The locket is decorated with a flower on one side and a group of carpentry tools on the other. It opens to reveal some very old dried flowers inside, presumably kept for sentimental reasons (gifted by a lover or child). This locket conjures up all kinds of possibilities for its history, though sadly all now lost through time! Today the locket appears relatively intact, it retains the suspension ring and closes tight so will be wearable with care.
