This is a nice example of a gold posy ring, dating to the 17th - 18th century. The ring is inscribed "Loue for Loue" a sentiment recorded in Evans. It bears no makers marks, so is broadly dated from the mid 17th - 18th century. A small ring, likely once gifted to a young lady.
