This is a rare Iron Age silver V-shaped finger ring, dating to the middle La-Tene period c. 400 - 200 B.C. It is an interesting type known as a "Schaukelring", similar examples being noted on the Portable Antiquities website from KENT-5235BB, Derby DENO-D90604, Essex ESS-015996. The ring is purposefully curved into a 'V' shape that when worn curls around the finger in an 'S' shape. Supposedly such rings were worn as magical talismans, used by elite members in society (such as nobility and Druids). It has survived in excellent condition and still wearable if one so chooses.
