Medieval silver signet ring

This is an interesting medieval silver signet ring, dating to the 14th - 15th century A.D. The bezel is cut with an unusual geometric design, used as a personal seal for sealing letters and documents. The ring has survived intact but slightly distorted and with a hairline crack to the lower hoop. A nice ring for a collector or museum display.
