This is a nice Roman silver Siliqua of emperor Magnus Maximus dating to 383 - 388 A.D.

VIRTVS RO-MANORVM Roma seated facing on throne, head left, holding globe and spear
This coin was minted at Aquileia (Italy), mintmark AQPS. The coin has some mirror surfaces and horn-silver in places, this is usually indicative of being buried within a hoard or pot. It is a rarer mint for this issue.
