This is a late medieval silver finger ring, dating to the 15th - 17th century A.D. The ring is intact and with a full round hoop. Decorated with a series of vertical lines, making up a beaded pattern. The decoration is partly worn in places, indicative of the ring being worn for a great many years. It is a simple band, one that was probably used as a wedding ring. Similar rings have been recorded from Wacton in South Norfolk NMS-F5A7EB and Bury St. Edmunds SF-6F8ED7.
