This is an interesting ancient Roman silver ring, dating to the 1st - 3rd century A.D. The ring is of a Henig type VII with wide decorated shoulders. The raised oval bezel is undecorated. The size would suggest this ring was designed for a bronze figurine or statue (the hoop drilled and resized to fit) this would have been purchased for votive use at a temple. Rare!
