This is an ancient Scandinavian Viking bronze raven brooch, dating to the 9th - 10th century A.D. It is intact with a wonderful olive-green patina, sadly the iron pin has deteriorated in the ground and we only have traces remaining. It is a rare and handsome piece of Viking art that would have been worn in pairs on the shoulders.
